Pokemon Doodles

Some humble offerings, sketched while waiting for Maya to render. No points for guessing what DS game I'm currently addicted to ^_~

It was Pokemon that actually started me on the path of drawing, so they hold a special place in my heart. Some of them are hard to draw though - Fearow, Graveller, I'm looking at you!

Mostly drawing the guys in my team currently (the oddish is actually a Gloom right now but I hate Glooms so I refused to draw one :P ), and down the bottom is the female trainer (i.e. who I'm currently playing as) from the new Heart gold/Soul Silver games.

OK, so I havent' update in a while - at least some of these updates have merit (Unlike the rubbish Pikachu I posted a while back XD). Oh, the joy of reference pictures.

Word-Count Doodle

Handed in the full first drtaft of my dissertation today... and it is way long XD It's supposed to be 10 thousand words, but mine is currently sitting at over 15 thousand. Oops...

Apparently thats even longer than what they would expect of someone doing the Masters Degree - lol! I'm just so brainy =D *dons nerd specs*

Doodle #1: It's Batman!

Number one is done! I just decided to do a quick copy/sketch of something which was right next to me, so here's a doodle of the Dark Knight himself from the cover of Batman:Year One by Frank Millar and David Mazzucchelli, done in black biro on the back pages of my diary (which coincidently doubles as my Dungeons and Dragons adventure-planning journal).

The graphic novel arrived fresh from amazon yesterday and I intend to read it and possibly include it as a source in my dissertation this year. Which is about superhero comics and their relevance in today's society. Y'know, just in case you were wondering...

Also: I've read the first few pages and I have to say I'm loving it so far :) Just, y'know, incase you were wondering that too...
